The Penn State Scranton Lions opened the 2015-16 season with a big win against former conference rivals Penn College. The game was tight throughout with both teams exchanging the lead six times before Penn State Scranton took a lead they would not relinquish. The Lions topped the Wildcats 83-72 to start the season off with a bang. The Lions were led by senior forward, Hasiin Dixon with a double-double, 25 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Also adding to the effort was sophomore guard, Cullen Fanning with 14 points, 5 assists and 3 steals and freshman forward, Mike Becchetti with 12 points and 1 block. The Lions will host the Marywood Pacers tomorrow at 2 PM.
