Bio
Mike Fazzi is in his sixth year
at Penn State's Scranton men's basketball - third as Head Coach. He
is a graduate of West Scranton High School (2000) and Penn State
University (2005). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Kinesiology. He is currently a Health and Physical Education
teacher in the Scranton School District at West Scranton High
School.
While a player at the
Scranton campus, Michael Fazzi was an All-Conference
Student-Athlete, 1st team All-Conference player and scored over
1,000 career points. In 2005, Coach Fazzi was awarded the Male
Student-Athlete of the Year by the Penn State Scranton
Chapter.
Coach Fazzi's previous coaching
experience includes varsity boy's basketball at Scranton High and
7th and 8th grade boys basketball at Riverside Jr/Sr High School.
In the summer, Coach Fazzi works at the Boys and Girls Club of
Northeastern PA.
He resides
in West Scranton.
