Cheerleading

The aim of the campus cheerleaders is to promote school spirit on campus. At the beginning of the fall semester, candidates participate in practice sessions for tryouts. New members will be required to learn stunts, chants and jumps. The cheerleading squad at Penn State Worthington Scranton is co-ed. The squad cheers for the men's basketball team, traveling throughout Pennsylvania along with many other events in the community.
