Carli Gruzesky

Carli Grusezky, a junior HDFS major at Penn State Worthington Scranton is also co-captain of the PSWS Cheerleaders.  Entering her third year on the squad Carli is a great team leader, helping organize fundraisers, recruit teammates and boost campus morale.  Carli, a West Scranton Graduate ran track, cross country and cheered for both varsity basketball and football.  Carli is a caring young woman who puts friends and teammates first and hopes to work as a children’s counselor after she graduates.  This summer Carli is working with her team to organize a 5k fundraiser in the community to benefit the squad as well as THON and she hopes to recruit new members of the squad while bettering their overall skills.  Cheering others on is something Carli feels passionate about and has made lifelong friends in the process.  She has made an impact on the recent campus athletes by cheering on and supporting members from every single varsity team.  When she’s not cheering Carli works for the PSWS Athletic Department organizing events and games and working at a local Italian restaurant.  Carli loves sports and fitness and can be found participating in various campus intramural teams and she loves working out at the gym.  Carli enjoys babysitting her little cousin, taking care of her dogs and hanging out with her friends.
